Background and Purpose

The global understanding of health and well-being is undergoing a profound paradigm shift, driven by changing lifestyles, demographic transitions, and growing awareness of the complex interplay between nutrition, environment, and life quality. As traditional biomedical models are increasingly complemented by holistic and preventive approaches, the need for interdisciplinary, evidence-based insights has become more critical than ever. The Wellness Paradigm: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Nutrition and Life Quality seeks to bridge the gap between nutritional science, public health, psychology, and social sciences. Beyond examining dietary frameworks, the volume explores how behavioral, cultural, and environmental factors shape well-being across the lifespan. In doing so, it aims to advance integrative approaches that promote sustainable health and improved quality of life. We invite original contributions—including theoretical frameworks, empirical research, and applied case studies—that provide innovative, scalable, and inclusive solutions to contemporary wellness challenges in diverse global contexts.

Target Audience

This volume is intended for academic researchers, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and graduate students in nutrition, public health, psychology, and related disciplines. It also serves as a reference for practitioners and institutions seeking to implement evidence-based strategies that enhance well-being and life quality at individual, community, and societal levels.
