Publication Process Overview
The following workflow applies to both calls for proposals (book chapters) and spontaneous submissions (complete books). At Adaya Press, we ensure a transparent and rigorous journey for every proposal:
- Initial Screening: We review the proposal to ensure it meets our academic scope and quality standards.
- Double-Blind Peer Review: Submissions are evaluated by at least two external specialists to guarantee academic rigor.
- Editorial Decision: Based on the reviews, we provide constructive feedback and a final decision (acceptance, revision, or rejection).
- Production & Open Access: Accepted works are professionally edited and published under a CC BY-NC 4.0 license for global reach.
Publication Fees (PPF)
Adaya Press publication fees are variable depending on the type of publication and the length of the document. These Publication Processing Fees (PPF) are intended to cover the full spectrum of our editorial services: from professional copyediting and proofreading to high-quality production, online hosting, and global dissemination. Furthermore, the PPF ensures the strategic promotion and long-term indexing of our authors’ work, guaranteeing maximum visibility and academic rigor for every published volume. The Open Access publication fee is payable by authors or on their behalf (e.g. by their institution) and is paid once the work has been accepted for publication.
Adaya Press supports the publication of high-quality research. In certain cases where funding is not available (e.g. developing countries, students, unemployed researchers), we may find alternatives to support you partially or fully with the publication processing fees.
